Biography
Dr. Khatmullin received his Ph.D. in 2013 in Photochemistry at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio. Prior to receiving his doctorate degree Khatmullin earned his BS and MSc degrees in Organic Chemistry from the National University of Uzbekistan. In 2013 Khatmullin joined Malcolm Forbes research group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a postdoctoral associate. He worked in the area of physical organic chemistry. In 2015 Khatmullin was hired as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry to work at Middle Georgia State University.
Research Interest
His current research interests include synthesis of organic compounds for renewable energy utilization and design of photoactive molecular switches which was published in various chemical journals.
