Biography
Paul Haddad is a UTAS Distinguished Professor. He has a DSc from the University of NSW and is a Fellow of both the Australian Academy of Science and the Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. He is Director of the Australian Centre for Research on Separation Science (ACROSS) and Director of the Pfizer Analytical Research Centre (PARC). He was an ARC Federation Fellow from 2006-2011. He is editor of the international journal Journal of Chromatography A, contributing editor for the journal Trends in Analytical Chemistry and is a member of the editorial boards of the following international analytical and chromatographic journals: Analytica Chimica Acta, Electrophoresis, Chromatographia, International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry, Analytical Letters, Trends in Chromatography, Current Analytical Chemistry.
Research Interest
His research is in the field of separation science and covers ion chromatography, capillary zone electrophoresis, capillary electrochromatography, and high-performance liquid chromatography, used especially for the separation of inorganic ions, metal complexes and low molecular weight organic species.
